We are thrilled to announce that Sibia Africa is attracting significant interest from international students eager to collaborate on our research projects in Kenya. As part of our three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Amsterdam’s Graduate School of Social Sciences, students from their Master's program in International Development Studies are expressing strong enthusiasm for our initiatives.

This growing interest aligns perfectly with our MoU, which aims to foster global collaboration in the areas of research and sustainable development. We are proud to announce that, starting in January 2025, more than 10 students are expected to form the first cohort under this partnership. These students will play an active role in learning from Sibia Africa’s projects around SDGs, bringing new energy and expertise to our work on sustainable farming, affordable health, AI in SDGs, and SDG data analytics.

Through this partnership, students will have the unique opportunity to come to Kenya and engage in hands-on field research, contributing to our local initiatives while gaining practical experience in sustainable development. This collaboration highlights the commitment of both Sibia Africa and the University of Amsterdam to create impactful, research-driven solutions that benefit communities and further the global SDG agenda.

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

We warmly invite these students and many others to our research hubs, including the Sibia SDG Centre, our AI complex, community clinic, and agricultural farms etc, where they will work alongside our dedicated teams. Their involvement will help drive critical projects forward, ensuring a mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and innovation between Sibia Africa and the University of Amsterdam.

As we prepare to welcome this first cohort of international students, we look forward to deepening our collaboration and pushing the boundaries of research and development. This partnership marks an exciting chapter for Sibia Africa as we expand our global reach, and we are eager to see the positive impact it will have in the coming years. Stay tuned for more updates!
